Here we have a pretty clean daily driver 1979 998cc Austin Mini Cooper, with the 13x7 Wheels and 50 series tires with the Mini Sport Flares, Mini Skid Plate, Racing Seats (with the correct seat tracks), New Aluminum Radiator, Electronic Ignition, Coil Spring and Hi Lo Conversion Kit, ect... This car cruises down the road at 65-70 with no problems, and would make a really decent daily driver.. The Motor Runs like a top, and the Transmission shifts perfectly, with no Noise.. It has just had a new Clutch/Pressure Plate installed, so all is good there. The motor holds over 50#'s oil pressure down the road and 25#'s plus at a idle , after the engine is a Road Trip operating tempeture. The Odometer is stuck at 43,000 miles, so I cannot say how many miles are actually on the car.. The speedometer is in MPH and does work, so I am sure it was changed at some point. The wheels and tires are only about a month old, so they are brand new. The Windshield, Back Glass, Quarter Window, Door Weatherstrip, Trunk Weatherstrips, are all brand new also, so they will not need addressing anytime soon.. This car is a really decent driver, and does have a few chips here or there, but it is a minimumal, and the car looks very clean. All the Paperwork/Title is Correct and Current on this car, so there are no issues there. Beware some of the other Mini's on the market with Uncompleted United States Paperwork, because you might find out you cant register it, after you already purchased it.. With the European Import and Canadian Import vehicles that have not had the U.S. Import registration done, there can be alot of time and hidden expense to actually get things done.. There are alot of area's here in the U.S. that are not friendly to Imported Cars, but if they were already registered elsewhere in the United States, there are no issues registering them into the difficult areas. It is currently Registered and Titled in Oklahoma, and has been for several years, along with being registered to me personally. This car gets attention everywhere it goes, so if you dont like talking to people, this is NOT the car for you.. It is bright and clean looking, and looks awsome going down the road, or sitting in the parking lot.. I cant go to the grocery store with out people being in the parking lot taking pictures with it, when I come out.. Dont buy Ice Cream when you go to the store, because more than likely, it will melt in the time it takes to answer questions people may have. I have a really reasonable transport company I use, and he is normally half of what you would be quoted from the Ebay Shipper Quoting.. I would be happy to pass of that information to interested buyers, so they can figure out cost of the car, and shipping to get it to its destination. They are done in the black Velour, with the red piping, but they are faded out. I also have the 10in Mini-lite wheels and tires that came off the car, and they will go with it also.. Beware purchasing a car, if they cannot supply you with atleast a picture of the documentation before purchase.. There are alot of people that have bought these cars, and then find out there is a Paperwork/Inspection/Expense Nightmare after it is too late, and they are already stuck with the car... There are alot of these cars on the market, that dont have the necessary Grey Car Registration done, and they will tell you it is easily done, but that is not the case in alot of instances, so do be careful.
