Up for sale is a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport with 123,000 miles Equipped with the following: - 4.0L inline six cylinder engine - 5 Speed manual transmission - Four Wheel Drive - Anti-Lock Brakes - Power Steering - Dual Air Bags - Leather Seats - AM/FM, Cassette & CD Radio - Rear Speakers - Hard Top - Running Boards - Fog Lights - Alloy Wheels with Spare - Rear Wiper - Air Conditioning It’s in good condition and is a fun car to drive. We don’t need it anymore and are looking to give it a new home. The tires are in great condition and so are the brakes and clutch, the vehicle is up to date on maintenance. The vehicle is equipped with the factory air conditioning but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I understand that anyone purchasing this vehicle would want A/C so I have reduced the price by $350 to cover the cost of having the A/C repaired. This is a great car and whoever purchases it will have many years of enjoyment. On Sep-20-12 at 16:34:22 PDT, seller added the following information: --------------------------------------------------------ITEM UPDATE---------------------------------------------- I have received a few questions about rust and it's because these Jeeps are known for rusting away. The vehicle was originally from New York State and as a result it was not immune to rust. That being said it had two areas where rust was an issue that needed to be addressed. The first was on he rear most part of the drivers side frame rail where it had a hole a bit smaller than a golf ball. The other area was the drivers side floorboard which was also repaired. The body and interior are in great shape for 123,000 miles. There are small bubbles under the paint on the front fenders. Other than that it has normal surface rust on metal components being exposed to the elements. The vehicle is by no means mint, perfect or in excellent condition. It is a 14 year old vehicle in good condition and I estimate that with care it will last for many more years. The engine and trans are in great condition. With all that being said, overall I consider the vehicle to be in "good" condition. I also wanted to correct myself, there were 3 areas that were repaired due to rust and I have included pictures of all areas.The driver's side floorboard repair has two photos, one from above and one from below. The sheet metal has been spot welded in place and insulated.The second area is on the body near a body mount and the third area is the rear portion of the frame.
