It has an Automatic transmission that appears to shift smoothly and correctly and the v12 engine appears to be in excellent running condition.It is loaded up with options such as cruise control and heated seats! This car was purchased by wealthy family from the northshore suburbs of chicago and was used as a car for their vacation houses. It spent most of its life as a California car prior to being purchased by the chicago area family. More than likely this is the reason that the body of this vehicle is in such great shape. The body of this car is in excelllent condition. The rockers, doors, lids etc... are all strong in great shape. It appears to have the original white paint on it which looks to be free of any prior body work. The care was also undercoated so it appears to be in much better condition than it should be. I have not found an older jaguar as solid as this one. This vehicle was garage kept with the top down for many years. Its starts right up and idles smoothly. Then interior shows weathering due to the top being down inside. The seats are rough as you can see and there are some dash parts you may chose to replace. THis is the perfect car to do a nice interior job on as the body and mechanicals are fantastic given its age. NON SMOKER-THE LIGHTER HAS NEVER BEEN USED. Aftermarket BBS wheels are in great shape and the tires look excellent with any where from 6/32 to 7/32 left on the equally worn corners. Tires appear to have 30,000 miles left on them. As you can see the top is torn at the back. It appears to be pulled away from glass and we believe it can be fixed pretty easily. It has an Automatic transmission that appears to shift smoothly and correctly and the v12 engine appears to be in excellent running condition.It is loaded up with options such as cruise control and heated seats!
This car was purchased by wealthy family from the northshore suburbs of chicago and was used as a car for their vacation houses. The body of this car is in excelllent condition. The rockers, doors, lids etc... are all strong in great shape. It appears to have the original white paint on it which looks to be free of any prior body work. The care was also undercoated so it appears to be in much better condition than it should be. I have not found an older jaguar as solid as this one.
This vehicle was garage kept with the top down for many years. Its starts right up and idles smoothly. Then interior shows weathering due to the top being down inside. The seats are rough as you can see and there are some dash parts you may chose to replace. THis is the perfect car to do a nice interior job on as the body and mechanicals are fantastic given its age. NON SMOKER-THE LIGHTER HAS NEVER BEEN USED.
Aftermarket BBS wheels are in great shape and the tires look excellent with any where from 6/32 to 7/32 left on the equally worn corners. Tires appear to have 30,000 miles left on them.
As you can see the top is torn at the back. It appears to be pulled away from glass and we believe it can be fixed pretty easily.
