Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a chopped 1930 Ford Model A hot rod coupe. This is a traditionally styled hot rod coupe that runs and drives great. It's been seen at Bakersfield Hot Rod Reunion, Viva Las Vegas, Billetproof NW, the World Famous Swindlers Poker Run, and is a great driving car that you could jump in and drive anywhere! It is solid and dependable, and is ready for a new owner. The body had a nice original 4" chop that was done in the 50's or 60's. The body was blasted and patch paneled about 15 years ago, but does have some paint bubbles starting to show on the body roll-pan above the fuel tank. There is also some paint cracking around the trunk. I've tried to get photos of these areas. Also, the clutch needs to be adjuster or be re-worked. It is hard to get the car in first or reverse sometimes. The rear decklid has a handle, but no latch inside the trunk, so the trunk does not latch shut. The car is not perfect, but is a great "driver" condition. It does have the normal rock chips and wear that would be typical of a car that has been on the road for a while, but is very nice overall and always gets a TON of attention when it's rolling down the road!
