1965 CHEVY VAN G10 SHORTIE,STRAIGHT6 W/AUTO TRANS Up for auction is my 65 Chevy van. Took this on trade for monies owed to me thinking I would get it back on the road. I just don't have the time,place(dang cc&r's) or know how. Van had previously been sitting for 6-8 years. A complete tune up was done and rebuilt carb. Tank is currently disconnected(should be cleaned first) I am feeding carb through a gas can right now. Van cranks just fine, plenty gas to the carb but does not start. I'm sure it's probally something simple but I will never figure it out.Anyway I think the winner of this van will be quite happy and if you have the know how ,should not take long too get it back on the road where it belongs. No rust or rot to worry about on this one. Roof and back doors need paint. Floors are extremely clean for the year.I think a big plus is the factory automatic trans,no shifting from the tree here. Shifter moves up and down through all the gears just fine.This van originally had windows on the drivers side but were removed/patched(see interior pic) and body work was done quite well I might add. Interior roof paneling is starting to come down, I can remove all the way if you like.Muffler has hole so will need replace as well as front windshield (cracked) and what ever part needed in engine to make this van hummmm again. I do have the small side door window seen missing in pic. Brand new wheels and tires all the way around.
