-- Relisting due to a non reponsive ebay winner - He won the auction but did not put deposit down. When he would respond he lept asking me to wait a few more days. Well a few more days ran into 2 weeks so here it is again. :) Good Luck bidding. This is a 1987 Scirocco I bought 4 years back while I was restoring a super nice 1986 Scirocco. I couldn't figure out some wiring issues so I bought this car and used it to help me solve some problems on the other car. My plan was to go racing with it after I got the other car put together. Well, life gets in the way sometimes and I got started on this car but can't find the time to get it finished. I bought an 2008 M3 the other day so I've decided to move this one on. When I bought it, it had not run in a few years. I eventually put a rebuilt fuel distributor in it, rebuilt the motor and cylinder head, new injectors, starter, coil and all maintenance items. The cars starts and runs down the road. It definitely needs some tuning but a good VW fanatic will get it in order. I have just lost the excitement and passion of it all. Transmission is tired but useable. Tires are tired and so are the springs. I installed a new fuel tank and fuel pumps in the car. I put a cheap set of shocks on it but turns out it needed springs too. Car has Neuspeed upper strut bar and a new Eurosport lower 4 point tie bar. It also has the 3 point bar at the rear struts and nuespeed lower rear sway bar. Car has an adjustable timing gear and I installed a MOCAL oil cooler on the car. Car has a Simpson seat and an Autopower roll cage. I installed a new set of braided stainless steel brakelines. It has new pads on it. It has super blue racing brake fluid in it. Passenger side has a racing type engine cut off switch. The rotors are tired but useable. I installed a glass pack muffler and exhaust tip and had it welded on. A month or so of weekends would put this car at the track. I've easily thrown 3,000 at it. It just needs a good home.
