My loss is your gain. This truck was purchased by my family NEW in the fall of 1971. It has never been driven by anyone outside the three original non smoking family members. The truck has never been in an accident, and the frame is just as it came out of the factory. There is very little rust and the body metal is mostly as it was when purchased. It has both tire holders, one in the bed and the other for under the bed. I started to have it restored in 1998 by the local GM dealer, as I had money. All original paperwork will be included in the sale,and will be delivered at time of completion of the sale. I am on disability and can no longer afford this project. As of today: The front end bearings have been replaced The rear end has had everything replaced inside and been aligned The motor was replaced in Nov 1998 at 32483 miles do to a broken valve that scratched the cylinder wall The transmission was rebuilt and the upgrade kit was installed to facilitate better shifting ( I do not know the reason, but GM recommended it) in 2008 and has less than 500 miles on itThe searing box has been rebuilt with all new seals and does not leakThe rest is up to you to do to finish it.
