*Up for Auction is a 1950 ford F-3. This is a 7 day No reserve auction. It has a Flathead 8 Cylinder which I believe is the original motor that came in it, but I cannot guarantee that as I don't know how to tell for sure. Mileage on the motor is unknown. If you want to know the odometer reading on it please contact me, I don't have the number on me right now and I can't see it in the picture. It has the manual transmission. Overall the body is very good, especially for a 1950.. There is not very much rust on this truck at all, however there is two spots small spots on the box where it did rust through which is shown in the pictures. Other than those spots I don't see any other spots that are rusted bad at all and any other spots look to be just small surface rust. The truck does need all new wood for the box as seen in the pictures but it does come with all the rods in the box, but they are surface rusted it appears and would need to be refinished and painted probably. Also as of right now there is only a lawn mower gas tank wired in to it, and the new gas tank would need to be installed.. I do have it and it is in the box right now. Also it needs a new gas pedal as it doesn't have one right now, you can still give it gas, but it is just missing the pedal.. The front windshield will also need to be replaced as it has some indents right in front of the drivers side, not broke all the way through, but would need to be replaced. The guy I got it from drove it into his garage last November and hadn't worked on it since. I just got it like a week ago, and haven't been able to get it started as of yet. I have only tried for like 20 minutes to get it started.. I think it needs rewired to the starter switch which is why it won't turn over. I believe the motor is still good, but I probably won't have time to look at it too much and get it started this week, so I'm selling it as nonrunning. It will need to be trailored. The brakes also don't work very good and will probably need to have some work as far as the lines are concerned and be bled. Overall the truck is a great looking restoration project and is not rusted bad for the age or anything like that. The interior is fair for the age and the gauges look nice and everything but like the center dash pad that says ford will probably need to be replaced, and the air duct system inside also needs work and replace. Truck pretty much needs a complete restoration but you won't find a better candidate as a F-3 which you never see and it is pretty much all original and is still 6 volt system. The truck is in Waterloo Iowa and will need to be picked up and trailered from there and it is Sold as is. If you have any questions or want to look at the truck, give me a call..
