All exterior trim and lenses sparkle clear like a much  newer car and when you turn the key, it starts and functions like a much newer vehicle . . . This Subaru tracks down the road  smooth, turns tight and stops straight as an arrow. On-Demand 4-Wheel Drive happens with  the push of a button on the gear selector. So does the  suspension. Car spent its early years in the  Sacramento area, then Southern California before coming to  Nevada just last month.                                                 Cloth interior gives little indication of  age. You get power windows, mirrors, locks, cruise  control, a working air conditioner and tilt steering that  also springs out of the way for easy entry/exit. The  radio even works on AM but I could figure out how to get  the FM to go on. The dach cover and the rear deck cover  have maintained the dash perfectly and the rear deck in  superb condition.                         83,520 original miles. Optional 'remembering-the-eighties'  digital cluster works great. We have a spare tire but the bolt that  holds it down is too small. It will be with the car.                         1.8 Liter SOHC Turbocharged Boxer  4-Cylinder                         115 horsepower @ 5,200/134 ft-lb torque @  2,800 RPM                         During our independent 130pt. service  inspection, we changed out the front axles, they were a  must, distributer cap and wires for a basic tune up and  charged the AC and checked for leaks on the system, it  does blows cold. There were other various minor leaks,  more like seepage butI was told that is fairly common to  the boxer engines and not an immediate concern at the  level they are at. Our service center was also in shock  to see the condition of this car. It's fun when a shop  that is used to Porsches, Ferraris and other exotics  sees a car like this one and it gets more attention.  Well we know why and so do you...have you seen one  lately?                                                 Question?...Would we drive it across  country...over the hills and through the  woods?...Yes!!!!                         Clean, dry undercarriage looks like new  and both front axles are new.
