1966 Pontiac GTO Straight Axle Gasser. This is your chance to own a piece of American drag racing history. A 1966 GTO Straight Axle Gasser. The car has 4 link front axle with coil over shocks. Front end fabrication was done by a shop in Chicago in the very early '70's. The fabrication work looks good. Car shows 2,538 miles. 12 bolt rear axle with ladder bars. 1968 400 block with 670 heads and hilborn fuel injection with timing cover and fuel pump. Hilborn was rebuilt and flow tested (we have the paperwork showing this. This GTO is PHS doctumented as a tri power, 4 speed with console and rally gauges. Engine and transmission were installed for test fitting, needs rebuilding does not run. Muncie M-21 and hurst shifter. All the window stainless moldings and lower rear quarter moldings and deck lid molding have been professionaly straightened and polished. The original color is Barier blue with black interiror. Body is straight very solid around front and rear glass channels has surface rust. Need both body mounts repaired in trunk by wheel wells. Passenger door has rust on inside by the weatherstrip,comes with good replacement door. Both front fenders have rust in bottom corner. This car is offered at "No Reseve"...happy bidding!
