You are bidding on my 1960 Bug Eye and you have heard the story before, but I have lost interest and want to find a good home for my car. I look long and hard for this car, only because I want a complete car that was solid. The car has had its fuel system cleaned, gas tank removed (jack stands), cleaned and repaired, and carbs rebuilt. Carbs are still off car and there was no attempt to start the car on my part, even thought the previous indicated that the car ran when parked. I have no doubt that would be the case and take little effort to get it to run. Car has had some upgrades, alternator, oil cooler, and front disc brakes. The pictures speak for themselves. Car does have some rust in the floors, rockers, and fenders. There is also a dent in metal at the rear of the car. I have also repaired and painted the battery box, heater exchange box and both master cylinders have been rebuilt. Has a new battery. Seat pans have been powder coated, along with carb heat shield, and other misc. parts. Seat backs have foam that is in good shape and should work when recovering seats. Seat rails and frames have been bead blasted and have to be painted. Top, tonneau cover are like new. Top frame and side curtains are in great condition. Plastic windows are solid and look as good as the pictures. Tires are brand new and I have cleaned and painted the rims. Also comes with spare tire and original jack. Comes with four hub cap that need to be re-chromed. The chrome on the bumpers and front grill are outstanding, not show condition, but very presentable.
