Vehicle Detail
This is a 1994 Taurus SHO. This car was originally given to Ford executives as part of a bonus. My brother has owned it since it was new. Just about everything on this car works however the interior has been neglected over the last few years. The paint is faded, interior has some cracks and visible usage. Needs new catalytic converter. A/C needs charge. The car drives and runs great. This car is powered by Yamaha 3.2 Super High Output engine. The motor alone is worth $2K. The motor runs quiet and incredibly smooth! This is a great car that just needs little TLC. No reserve! On Sep-09-12 at 20:37:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I tested the car today: THE BAD: -Tint is faded, scratched and peeling, needs to be removed -Paint is faded on the hood and especially on the roof. -Interior needs attention -Needs new catalytic converter -There is about 1sq ft damage to the carpet on the floor at passenger side back seat -Dashboard has cracks in few areas, tear in the seam on one of the seats THE GOOD: -Engine runs great, very strong, quiet and smooth -Transmission operates fine, shifts smooth and on time, no slip -Breaks work good, no noise or squeak, car stops quickly and efficiently -Interior power seats work but the plastic that holds the switch unit is cracked and switches are loose on both sides. -The car does not appear to be leaking onto the pavement, it has been parked out in my driveway with no leaks visible -All the lights work properly including turn signals, headlights, stoplights, brights, interior lights, panel lights etc. -All control lights come on dashboard and turn off as car is started. The "Low Coolant" light comes on occasionally-I suspect bad sensor because coolant is full. -All doors, including handles, panels, electric windows operate smoothly and as necessary, -Windshield wipers operate fine. -No cracks in any glass, headlamps -Tires are aprox. 80% life still very nice - Aluminum rims no cracks or visible scratches -Trunk contains a spare "doughnut" type, jack -Although the interior of this car has been neglected this car is mechanically sound with the exception of the catalytic converter-This car had one owner, body is 100% straight and original, never in any accidents-Title is clear
