Hi, I am selling my 1967 Mustang Convertible. I purchased this car in 2007. It was a six cylinder, all drum brakes. My friends body shop had a wrecked 1972 Cougar with 63k original miles on it that donated the following parts: A 351 Cleaveland, with matching FMX transmission, front disk brake assembly,and a 8" Ford rear end. Most parts were purchased thru: Napa, Mustangs Plus, CJ Pony, Mustangs Unlimited. 351C: The engine was taken apart and the following done to it. New oil pump, oil seals, gaskets, rear and front main seals, oil pan, restored 2bb carburator by Pony Carburators of Las Cruces, New Mexico, all new gauge sensors, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, sparkplugs, water pump,thermostat, timing chain and seals, new harmonic balancer,belts, hoses, alternator, brand new Borgeson power steering convertion(Inc Power steering box,steering shaft, power steering hoses). It steers so easy. The radiator is also new. The power brake convertion includes: All stainless steele lines, a ford racing front to back proportioning valve, all new rotors/drums, pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, calipers, front disk bearing and seals, brake booster and master cylinder. The suspension is from "Grab-a-track" products sold by Mustangs Plus and it includes: Shocks, rear leaf springs, shackels, bushings, upper and lower control arms, 1" front sway bar with poly bushings, end links, spring perches, 620 front springs(Lowers car 1"). The dual exhaust: 2" from manifold to intermediate pipe connecting to Delta Flow 40 series mufflers and coming out the back with chrome quad tips. All new hardware was used including bolts and hangers. It sounds fantastic! The FMX transmission: Rebuilt by local shop in 2009, detailed and added a shifter tightening kit. Shifts very smooth. The rear 8" axle: All new center hardware, 3.00 gears(Best on highway) with a Ford trac lock, new seals,bearings. Detailed nicely. No leaks. No funny noises. The interior: Seat frames were sandblasted, primed, and painted. New foam and seat covers installed. Nice details including the easy working seat tracks. New door panels, dash, dash pad, detailed steering column, horn works and so do signals. New gauge cluster with tach. Additional oil,volts, and water temp pod in dash. Stock radio works with center speaker. Hidden alpine system with 4 alpine speakers. The hidden stereo works with a plug wire that plugs into your I phone, mp3 or similar. The convertible top: Installed in 2010 by Radan Upholstery, the hydraulic motor, tubes,switch,and pistons were purchased thru CJ Pony Parts. Also have convertible top cover when its down. The body: Nothing was done to the body, the two stage base coat clear coat paint job I was told by the last owner is about 15 yrs old. It still shines beautifully. There are a few nicks here and there and a small area peeling inside the drivers side headlight bucket. It was there when we bought it. The body has not changed since we have owned it. The floors are solid. The cowl does not leak at all, seems to have had the new "Hats" or vents done at one time. The doors/trunk seals could use refreshing. The rims are Magnums 500 with new tires 95% thread left or more. Its a great driver that will get u plenty of compliments. My wife loves driving it and is very sad to see her go, but we have other endeavors to try. I'll be more than glad to answer any questions. Car sold as is. Alex
