You are bidding on a clean 1985 Toyota 4Runner. Please read the entire listing. Relisted due to non-payment of deposit. This is a very nice, clean rust-free 4runner and has been maintained very well . No accidents or rust, clean title. It is in fantastic condition for its age (27 years) and is a very rare year for the 4runner with the last year of a straight front axle and the first year of fuel injection. I originally purchased this 4runner several years ago and have only put a few thousand miles on it (and only 3000 on the new motor I had installed when the old headgasket was due for a replacement). I have just basically been storing it and driving it occasionally, and can't justify keeping it. Recent work done since I purchased it : - New (not rebuilt) 22RE engine with new head, cam, valves, springs, water pump, oil pump, timing kit, alternator, radiator, brake master cyl, belts, battery, - air/fuel/oil filter, fuel pump, reupholstered seats, new carpet, wipers all around, full exhaust system from CAT to muffler, transmission/transfer case serviced, - all new fluids in everything from front to back, new rear window motor/wiper motor, Sony (CD and iPod hookups) head unit and speakers I had OEM Toyota parts used and have receipts to document nearly everything done including the engine and all recent services. Needless to say, thisthe 4Runner is mechanically sound and ready to drive anywhere across the country as it sits and will not be needing any major service done for a long time. Rear window and wiper works great. No water leaks in the car either. This 1985 4Runner has factory air conditioning all hooked up and with a fuel injected motor, it is perfect for any climate or trip, and has a working heater for the winter as well. The condition of this 4Runner is fantastic and I spent a very long time looking for one this clean. It does have a small dent in the middle of the bumper you can see in the middle in the right light, and a small dent on the driver taillight, and a few chips from driving that have been touched up, overall fantastic and super clean for a '85 4Runner, check out the pictures! It has BFG All-Terrains that could be replaced in a couple years and a 2.5" mild lift for the 31" tires. The paint still does shine, was repainted several years ago and with a good buffing, probably would look nicer, even though it is regularly waxed and washed since it is garage kept. I have much much more in this 4Runner than the reserve price, so someone will get a good deal on a great car that is very reliable and doesn't need anything. Fly in and come pick it up, then drive back. For California bidders : Smogged last week for the sale and has current CA registration through 2013 and Clean CA title.
