Vehicle Detail
As much as it hurts me to say this, It is time for someone else to buy and enjoy this car. I purchased this 2007 Mustang GT-H from Florida in October of 2008 at that time it had only been in the rental fleet for about one year and had 16,000 miles on it. Hertz would not rent the GT-H's to just anyone, you had to prove that you dont live locally, near the rental center. I have been the sole owner/driver of this vehicle since. It has been garaged and babied every day of its life with me. I have all documentation, including original window sticker, 1st title when the car was titled to Hertz, Shelby Invoice, and current title and tags. I have owned quite a few vehicles and I have to say, this car gets more attention than anything i've ever owned before. If you dont want to talk to people at the gas station, then this car is not for you. Here is your chance to purchase a piece of Shelby history and own a classic with great investment potential. In 2007, Carroll Shelby made 500 Shelby GT-H Convertibles exclusively for the Hertz Corp. to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350H. This was the first time in Hertz history that a convertible was introduced into the Rent-A-Racer Hertz Fun Collection Program. Each car was given a Shelby serial number just like it was done in the 60's. This car is #CSM 07H 333, which is 333rd car of a limited run of only 500 cars. These were all done at Shelby Performance, Las Vegas, Nevada. The GT-H's have a modest power boost over the regular Mustang GT, features include a 4.6 liter V8, 5 speed Automatic transmission, 3:55 Rear assembly, a package from Ford racing including a 90 mm cold air intake kit, X-pipe exhaust, and Ford racing GTA axle-back mufflers, and a special performance suspension. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car, I had the stripes redone September of 2011 due to slight fading. I bought them from Shelby Performance, (not aftermarket) The stripes alone cost me $650. Please feel free to ask me any questions, there is a small scratch in the new stripe on rear bumper, due to a persons front license plate. (Shows in photo) I have purchased the rear bumper stripe again, and will include with car. On Apr-26-12 at 08:44:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I was parked at the curb a gentleman pulls up and parks behind me. As he is looking down, his car rolls forward and taps my rear bumper. He puts the car in reverse and leaves. I got out and noticed that my newly replaced stripes have a small tear in them from his front plate. Very upset and with his license number in hand I went to the police department and reported it. It became a bigger deal than I had expected. Long story short I got a check from his insurace company for $330.63. I have a copy of the police report and a copy of the check I can show buyer. It will show the date of the incident. If I had known that the only way anything shows up on Carfax is due to a police report, I would have never followed through with it.
