1964 Ford Galaxie XL 500 Runs and drives. Transmission has a hiccup. It starts out in second gear and then shifts to third under normal driving conditions. If you really step on it though, it starts in second but doesn't want to shift into third unless you let off the gas. As soon as you step back on the gas though, it down shifts into second. I was told that it might need a band adjustment, but I don't know for sure. Reverse works fine. Is a true 390 XL 500, not a 352. Interior needs some work (see pics). Car is very solid. Has good chrome and comes with a couple extra chrome strip pieces. Has power steering. Odometer reads 21610, but I am sure it has rolled over. Fun car to drive, hate to see it go.
