You are bidding on a 1978 VW Factory Sunroof Bus, factory equipped 2.o fuel injected engine .This bus was bought new from an acquaintance of mine and serviced by MyVW mechanic its entire life. The bus was stored after the Fuel Pump died. I picked it up and started to go thru it. I have had many busses over the years. I have 4k$ in receipts over the past year. This bus runs and drives it has a stuck exhaust valve and needs a new head. Moderately easy & Inexpensive job for a VW enthusiast Compression is 100-120-120-120 . the lower one being the one with the bad valve. I have had the Brakes gone thru. new bearings-wheel cylinders ,zirks,New Brand name German axles )not the Cheap ones) The gas tank was removed and treated all new fuel lines fuel filter.Fuel Pump,Vacum hoses, ignition and seals all new as well,as well as many other new mechanical parts all with Receipts .It starts up shifts smooth and stops straight. has 2 new tires. over the condition is very good original condition for a 34 yr old VW, Luckily it has always been here in dry New Mexico. It has very slight surface rust around the windshield , very slight surface spots ,nothing bad, very solid and dry in all the typical spots. This bus has great character and would make an Easy excellent daily driver or restoration Candidate .Windows all Sekurit VW Glass. seals need replacing . The Bad Bad exhaust valve on cylinder #1 windsheild cracked needs mirrors Rear has been hit lightly bumper damaged apron not pushed in though Needs rear heater hoses (never need heat here) speedo gas gauge recently stopped working some dash cracks needs sunvisors seats need recovering GOOD Clear Title-Passed emissions does NOT leak oil new brakes axles-cv joints bearings wheel cylinders transmission/drive train gone thru exhaust fuel pump-fuel pump relay-fuel filter-fuel tank-pressure regulator-hoses-relay- top quality parts used sunroof model (rare) new wipers-lights-kick panelsmany other little things-No major rust-extremely solid bus. Roof rack and other various parts included . I have too many things going on in my life and cannot finish.I have to purchase items for growing bushiness.
