RE-LISTING WITH LOWERED RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Up for auction is a 67 Chevelle project that is well on its way! It comes with tons of extras that will have the new owner well prepared and far ahead of schedule for half the investment! I have been given a rare opportunity to purchase my last car I built back from the current owner due to his medical condition. I only have room for one extra car, so this one and all of its extras need to go! First, the two door…best rust free straight project car I have ever seen! That is why I bought it. It will need a drivers quarter panel, it was replaced sometime in the past and will need to be redone. It will need a passenger wheel opening patch, the previous owner cut out the wheel wells for big slicks as seen in the pictures. It is currently sitting on a tube frame drag chassis with ladder bars. It has a 12 bolt rear, spooled with 4.56 gears. My intent was to restore it back to a street car. There is no interior, but I do have a parts car that is going with it. The rear wheels and tires pictured were sold for parts a while back, as I intended to make this a street car. The roll cage has been cut out, and the floor pans will need repair where the cage was, the pans are very solid and will only need repair, not replacement. Parts car…has a great interior, I have already removed the column and dash as seen in the pictures to use on the 2 door, it also has a power steering box and many other small parts that will bolt right to the 2 door like inner fenders, wheel houses, windshield washer pump, wiring harness, etc… 67 El Camino frame…if you didn’t know, all El Camino and wagon frames came fully boxed from the factory! Super strong and rigid! Anyone building a quality street car would want one, as I did. I have shortened the frame at the rear rails to match factory 2 door specs, it needed 3 new body mounts welded in and that was completed last week! The only thing left is to coat it with a rust inhibitor like POR 15, Hammerite, etc…then put it together with all of the new suspension parts I have that cost over $2000 and go with this great deal! I have set a very reasonable reserve, this package was listed locally for $6000, but my reserve is WAY below that, in fact it is only half of what I have invested! Like I said earlier, I need this sold so I can purchase back the last Malibu I built. I could easily separate and part out for well over $10K, but I just don’t have the time, so bid with confidence! PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit of %50 of final auction price is due within 24 hours of auction ending, and the balance due at pick up. Pick up must take place within 7 days of auction ending unless other agreement is made specifically between me and the buyer.
