1967 Ford Mustang coupe Factory C code V-8 with 95,000 original miles. The original 289 was completely rebuilt with performance parts bored 30 over, Edelbrock alum intake, Edelbrock 600 carb, headers, cam, the previous owner spent 3500.00 on the motor I do have reciepts it was built by a machine shop this was done a few years ago has approx 7,000 miles. There was also a new radiator, alternator, brakes, brake lines, fuel line, gas tank, all done at the same time. The body was sanded down and the car was just put into Dupont primer sealer, the original color was turquoise you can see the original paint in the door jambs and on parts of the frame rails still. The car was repainted purple in the 1980,s when I purchased it a year ago it was purple still it was sanded down and put into primer. Body panels look original there were lower panels welded in on bottom of rear quarters years ago. If you are looking for just a driver you could take it to Maaco and have it painted your choice of colors for around 300.00 if you are looking for a show car additional block sanding a primering will need to be done before paint, or just drive it like it is has the Old School look with the primer. Rear bumper is brand new the front bumper needs replaced, the interior is original and needs some work drivers seat has some tears, needs new dash pad, needs headliner it was sagging and removed. The floors are original and pretty solid, the frame rails look good except the drivers side rear towards the back end has a rust spot. Car runs great and sounds real nice its fast, also has newer dual exhaust with Flowmasters, small leak on the thermostat housing, nuetral safety switch needs small adjustment, this car is 45 years old its not perfect and needs some work, has been off the road for one year, there are a couple boxes full of new and used parts in the trunk that are included. Car will be sold with current Connecticut registration and Bill of Sale only, Conn. does not issue titles on vehicles over 25 years old. If you are a Connecticut resident you can put this car right on the road no inspection required.
