This is a 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen turbo coupe for sale by owner. - Sharp two door black coupe on black leather interior with tinted front and rear windows. 2.3 L engine matches the 9-5. Front wheel drive 4cyl. 5- Speed Manual. Super quick to pick up speed. Inspection passed March 2012. Has approximately 122,300 miles, mostly highway from PA to NJ. This car is maintained by regular check ups including topping off fluids, oil changes etc. and regular checks as needed. Serves well. Please read through all the way. The facts: In June 2011, installed new brake rotors and brake pads, and also installed new 17" WHEELS with tires. As of April 2012 there is one brand new rear tire. As of July 2012 , an alternator was installed and a new serpentine belt was installed. As of August 1st, a new crankshaft sensor was installed. All checks were done by service professionals. These are the upgraded installations (from prior owner): 22mm sway bar, steering rack brace and clamp installed (virtually eliminating any torque, huge plus), air intake (smooth) Full of POWER: Heated and power seats, power sunroof, leather seats, CD player, cup holders, rear wipers, new front delta wipers, mini headlight wipers. Very spacious trunk area. Extra cup holder which is removable for either driver or passenger side. Gets around 26+ MPG highway. Fuel system: SAAB Trionic 7 fuel inj. What you Must know: There are a few burn marks on the interior of the car. One of them is on the driver side leather seating and is very small. The SID pix. is at about 60%. The car is low to the ground, so they are scuff marks and scratches on the front bumper, sometimes unavoidable. With that said, it needs a new left side fog light. I still have the original left side fog light that will come with it, it would need a new light, bulb and socket for that one. I recently just took out this fog light so it's still seen in the photos. The SID display reads "fill coolant", however this is just a false reading. The coolant tank is full of fluid. One of the cup holders on the dashboard above the CD player is broken off. There are the normal scratches and small dings of an 11 year old car. Leather is fairly clean, and shows wear. A good detail and this car would be looking like very sharp. The trunk latch needs new struts, still it opes and closes. The accident on the carfax was very minor from prior owner, it required new paint above drive side rear wheel well. There is one very small paint chip above passenger front wheel well. Just needs a touch of black paint. This car is a piece of history. This specific model [Viggen black coupe] is only 1 out of 71 made in North America in 2001. Super fast and lots of fun to drive.
