Okay folks, here is a true barn find. I used to walk by this place as a kid and admire the Thunderbird in its glory days. It so happened that I was coming across an estate sale and this thing was part of it. I didn't really want to mess with it but I also wasn't going to let it go for nothing to the scrap heap. Honestly, I could only see the tail lights when I bought it. The hood, roof and trunk were covered in rugs, boxes and dust--lots of dust. Needs a new top. You'll see as the pictures speak volumes on this car. The floor pans are good; I have all hubcaps; door jams are excellent; rockers are good; fenderwells need some work but I have the fender skirts; interior is dusty--real...you get the point. Doors open and shut; hood opens and shuts; I have 2 original ignition keys and 1 trunk key (I haven't looked but Jimmy H. may be in there--kidding of course) Hood and trunk are in good shape; right front fender is rusting and rear sail panel (sits below rear window) is rusting but not gone. Dash is cracking and steering wheel is cracked. Console is in good shape and doors inside and out are pretty good. Original motor is in there with original Thunderbird valve covers. This car could be put back to running condition, parted out, made into a street cruiser, etc. Your job, not mine. Have fun bidding and good luck.
