jcm774 Store 1962 TR 4 (CT1796 L) Triumph TR4 The car was sold new in 1962 to a personal friend. I purchased it from the original owner in 1963 in Seattle Washington and drove if to Palo Alto, California when I moved there in 1966. The Car has been lightly driven regularly ever since. The car has always been well maintained, with most all maintenance records from 1963 to date available, and has always been housed in a garage. It is in excellent mechanical condition including Engine (good oil pressure and compression, no smoke); Transmission; Steering, Clutch assembly, Suspension, and Brakes have all been well maintained. Major engine work accomplished over the years has included a complete engine overhaul in1996. The car has been driven approximately __*___ miles since this overhaul. All work on the car since 1966 has been done by Bill and Jeff Burnett of British Motors, now located in Mountain View, California. The car runs very well and is a pleasure to drive. Pretty much as stock as the day it left the factory. The body and frame are rust free and the car has never been involved in an accident. The chrome and trim are in very good condition. Includes original tool set and owners manual and a reasonably complete service record. I just realized that this car is now 50 years old!
