THIS ITEM IS FOR SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLYClassic 72 350 SL Roadster. This 72 MB was the first car of this body style that was made in Germany for the European market and was bought in Germany and then exported to the U.S. This 72 SL350 has an extensive list of options: Power steering and brakes, temperature gauge, reclining leather bucket seats, and cloth top. Drive away with history and experience what a true classic is all about. Although it runs and drives fantastic, it has recently been leaking fuel from the fuel pump. I have been told by my mechanic that a new fuel pump will completely fix the issue. Always kept very well maintained by one owner throughout the years until being given to me about 4 years ago. I have kept it in my garage and haven't driven it much in those years, for me it has always been more of a novelty and something to take out when I was in a convertible mood. The engine was rebuilt less then 30,000 miles ago and runs very strong. At the moment I do have the idle set very low because of the leak in the fuel pump. The soft top latches perfectly, in the pictures it was down only because that's how I usually keep it in my garage. The leather seats are still like new. Also the soft top is brown, almost matching the interior and suits the tan color of the car very well. Outside of the recent leak in the fuel pump I have never had any issues with the cars performance.
