1976 Porsche 912E Coupe in excellent condition. No rust or accidents whatsoever, 100% factory metal and flawless undercarriage. Always garaged, beautiful base-clear paint in original silver, near-perfect original black interior with new seat upholstery done to factory specifications. "After a six-year absence, the 912 was re-introduced to North America as the 1976 model year 912E (internal factory designation 923) which shared the "G-Series" bodywork with the 911S... Once in production, the 912E was powered by an 86 bhp 2.0 liter Volkswagen air-cooled engine, refined with a new Bosch L-Jetronic (Air Flow Controlled) fuel injection system. The 912E occupied the entry-level position left vacant by the discontinuation of the 914, while the new 924 – another Porsche-Volkswagen joint effort vehicle and the 914's official replacement – was being finalized and put into production.
