My wife is selling this care because she has just upgraded. She has driven this car through college until now, since 2002. She has loved this car, never breaking down on her one time. We have maintained the car very well and despite its miles for the right buyer this car will last thousands of more miles. The overall condition is as follows: There are several minor scratches and a few dents. Nothing is extreme. Please see pictures. This car has never been smoked in and the interior is in great shape for the age of car! My wife is very clean up to and and including not eating in the car. The carpets are very clean! The engine is strong and runs great. Starts right up. Does not overheat. All electronic items still working including electric seats, cruise, all lights, cd player. Heat works great. Air conditioning works but causes a squeeling noise on and off each time of use (mechanic should be able to fix). The check engine light comes on and off and has done so for years. My uncle is a mechanic and repaired the engine gaskets about 4-5 years ago and stated that the light will continue to do this for the rest of its life. I even paid another outfit to investigate the light but they were unable to fix it. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles for the last 10 years, most recently at Valvoline Instant Oil Change on 5/15/12 at 157,911 miles. On 2/18/12 the air filter and wiper blades were replaced. When turning the vehicle a clanking noise can be heard. The car is in need of 2 stabilizer links replaced. The exhaust, muffler, and accompanying parts are also recommended for replacement. None of these are considered hazardous to driving the car as we are still driving the car about once per week to keep it running smooth. I have a mechanic in the Lakewood who has stated he would do all of the work if parts are purchased (about $250), for $500. My wife refuses to allow any more money put into the car or I would keep it as a work car. On 11/22/11 the left and right CV shafts were replaced. On 4/26/11 we replaced the tires, at 144656 miles. Only 15K has been driven on them since, they are in great shape with 25,000 more miles ready to go! The tires are Goodyear RS-A's - On 4/26/11 we also replaced the water pump, spent $800 that day on this beauty! 9/4/10 replaced rear wheel cylinders, rear drums, and the alternator, spent $523 that day:) My wife has kept almost all records and still has the owners manual. We would be glad to answer any questions. Again this car has been driven by my wife since 2002 in Toledo, Cleveland, and a short time in Lexington, Kentucky. There are small rust spots as expected on a 2000 model. This car would make a great work vehicle. Will require some TLC and some minor repairs that we have decided not to invest in as we are selling the vehicle. It does drive smooth and we are currently driving the car around Lakewood/West side of Cleveland to keep it running smooth. This car has been washed inside and out, vaccumed very clean, and ready for its next owner. Title is in hand and ready upon the right price.
