Please read the ENTIRE AD prior to bidding. If you do not have a feedback score of at least 10, please contact me via phone! Up for auction is my 1972 Buick Centurion Convertible with a Buick 455. I have owned the car for the past 9 years. When I purchased it, I was told the engine had been rebuilt and had less than 15K miles on the rebuild. It has ARP Head bolts and runs very well but I do not have paperwork to prove it. It has an HEI distributor, flow master mufflers with dual exhaust, cross over pipe, 2.93 Non Posi rear end and optional side marker fender turn signals. The engine bay is very clean for a 40 year old car. The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the rear end is quiet. The interior has small nicks/wear/small rips in certain parts (mostly the panels). I was in the process of reupholstering the front and back seats to white and changing the carpet to black but ran out of time. The seats are clean for a cruiser. I am including a USED black carpet kit. The paint is clean and freshly waxed. It has a fresh oil change, transmission was serviced over a year ago, rear end was just serviced. The paperwork includes the original owners manual and the parts of the build sheet. I have cleaned it up as time and money has allowed. The car does need TLC. It has nicks and scratches on the paint and could use a new top and therefore may be other minor items that might need TLC. The car is a 40 year old classic but not a show car and I am not representing it as one. Please feel free to contact me DIRECTLY at 925.787.964SIX. I am selling because I have too many projects at this time and hope it goes to a good home! It has been parked in my garage and driven sparingly while I have cleaned it up. It could use a newer top and the top is moved up and down manually. It has worked well for me since it was parked in my warehouse and never had the top up. The rear passenger side foot well needs to be fixed as it has some rust but the panel costs less than $75. The trunk has surface rust but no holes. Floor boards are good except for the foot area described. The rear quarters have a little bit of bubbling (see pixs). The corner of the trunk lid also has small bubbles but has been the same size the past 9 years. The heater is currently not hooked up. I never gotten around to hooking it up. The smog pump and A/C system are currently not setup. I never needed them living in Sunny Northern California. I am enclosing extra parts in the trunk that include: smog pump and a/c parts restoreable dasha box of misc. interior parts. spare white wall tireblack interior carpetrestoreable set of lower door panel chrome for both sides. I can sell the winning bidder a set of Buick Rally Rims complete with 1/2 inch white wall tires/center caps for an extra $450 after auction end if interested. I would install them and keep the rolling stock. These tires have 80% + tread remaining. $500 non refundable deposit is due immediately upon auction end. I will not disclose the RESERVE.
