The Good: Great engine and transmission, all electrics work apart from rear right window. Interior is good, leather seats in great shape. I have driven this car as a daily driver for 4 years and it is still going strong. I just bought a new car hence reason for sale. Always used synthetic oil - just changed 2 weeks ago. Spare tire never used. Power seats, mirrors, windows, sun roof, cruise control, sport mode. Great stereo, 6 CD changer in trunk, onboard computer (light needs replacing on central illumination console) Never overheated and I've done long journeys. Doesn't burn oil. Never leaked a drop of oil on my garage floor and it's parked there every night. The Bad: Air conditioning doesn't work. I do not know why as it has never worked since I bought it. Rear right bumper has a ding as shown in pic - just the pastic surround broken which can be replaced for low $. (someone backed into it in car park...ahhhh!!) Right front shock needs replacing. I have driven it with bad shock for the last 5 months so it's perfectly drivable, but it will need fixing at some point. This causes uneven tire ware and vibration at 60 MPH. Not sure how much this repair costs, but I just had my wifes Honda CRV fixed at the Honda garage for $360 including labor so I assume the BMW will be similar price.) Remember this is a 17 year old car with plenty of scratches and minor dings. Car will go to highest bidder. Like I said - I've had no issues with the engine and transmission. One last thing to point out - the bar on the drivers door that stops it opening too wide has broken away from the door frame..doesn't affect how the door opens or shuts but you do not want to open it hard. This is probably not repairable.
