1978 green Volkswagon Westfalia Camper with 116000 miles & clear title. I've had the van for 8 years, and bought it because it was original & complete. It starts & runs. Its been in storage for 5 years. It is unrestored & includes the original 2000cc motor with bosch fuel injection, all air shrouds, air conditioning, original plaid upholestry, rear snap in screen, front cab curtain, screeens for louvered side windows, drop leaf table,original cabinets, water tank, sink, ice box, swiveling passenger seat . I tried to take photos of the overall conditon. The cloth top needs to be replaced. The pictures show scratches, dings, dents & all other imperfections that I'm aware of. I knew the previous owner, and the bus has been out West for at least 20 years. The body & undercarriage are solid yet show some surface rust. The doors function well & don't sag. The van undercarriage is solid where you can typically find cancerous rust & the chassis is in good condition. Overall , I feel this van would be an excellent candidate for restoration. I'm a competent shadetree mechanic who has rebuilt Volkswagen motors and can talk shop if you have any specific questions!
