Up for sale is an affordable 86 T-Bird. I purchased this car from a Ford guy that decided to hop up a T-Bird instead of the usual Mustang. Engine is bored .040 over, has 10.1 Flat Top Pistons, the heads are shaved and ported. Features an Elderbrok Intake and Four Barrel Carburetor. Has a Mild Cam with Rollertip Rockers. Transmission is a C4 with a 2000 stall speed with a shift kit. Rearend is 3:08 with Posi. Also has Headers and a Flowmaster Exhaust which really sounds nice. As seen in the pictures, car has an aftermarket fiberglass hood and a nice set of alloy wheels. Paint is of a "Driver" quality. It looks great from ten feet. Definately is not "Show" quality. Underneath is solid. Brakes and suspension parts have passed our safety inspection. Interior is nice. No cracks or tears. Headliner is excellent. Seats are a little faded from sun exposure but really looks pretty good inside and out. The car is a little cold blooded. Have to remember to pump the gas pedal a few times when first starting it. Once warmed up, this car absolutely goes down the road like it did twenty-six years ago, and definately a little quicker! No pulling or shakes or anything. Car drives great and the seats are comfortable. Previous owner just took it to the Ford Carlisle show which is about four hours away without any problems and said it was very good on gas. I have had my fun with this car but its time to sell it. Definately not asking anywhere near what dollars have been put into this car, but that is the way it goes with vehicles. It is truely a very nice car for the money. Mileage on this car is unknown and is mileage exempt.
