This 1962 Ford F-100 Pickup Truck is in original condition. It has 63,757 original miles.It has the original paint and the original interior.The truck was bought new in Colorado Springs Colorado in 1962 and driven back to the McCann farm.It made one other trip back to Colorado Springs but since then it has not hardly left the farm. It spent most of it's life in the machine shed which explains the excellent condition it is in. The interior looks like new, but it is the original upholstery. It has the V-8 engine with the 4 speed granny low transmission. There is a crack in the right front fender (probably stress crack???) and a dent in the left front fender where it got up against a tree in the field. The body is very sound and would make an excellent straightforward restoration project. I have looked online quite a bit and cannot find another truck like this in this condition. It is a very unique opportunity to come across a barn find like this. Truck starts right up, runs, and drives fine, clutch and transmission work great, does not have any cooling system leaks, minor oil seepage. It does need a new master cylinder. When you hold down on the brake pedal, you can feel the pedal drop, however it does not loose any brake fluid. I manage an auto repair shop and can arrange to have the master cylinder replaced if successful bidder is interested. I purchased the truck from the McCann family three years ago, but with all of my other projects, I don't really have the time to restore it right now.
