1997 Saab 9000 CS Turbo2.3 Liter turbo, Automatic107,000 MilesLoaded with optionsA/C Blows cold The intake cam timing gear worked loose, causing engine to jump time.The car will still run, but runs rough. It would have to be towed/Trailered. I'm not sure if the engine suffered internal damage. I have purchased a good, used cylinder head, and will include with the car.I have spent around $1,200 on parts prior to the engine This is what I have replaced/Repaired:New C.V. Axles/Both SidesNew Water Pump, Heater Core, Blower Motor,and all belts and hosesNew lower ball joints, sway bar bushings, tie rod ends.New BatteryAll new belt idler/tensioner pullies Prior to engine problems, the car ran cool, didn't burn oil, turbo worked well. It has served us well, and would be a decent car for somebody needing parts or to repair.The body does have dents and dings, both front and rear bumpers have been cracked. I have a reserve, and it will be low!
