This very Classic 1990 2-Door Swedish Saab 900s hatchback is up for bid with a low reserve price. I believe I am the third owner. I purchased the car for parts or to repair, and shortly after purchase I found a BMW M5 to restore. Since I have already previously owned "6" Very dependable Saab 900s vehicles, I decided to restore the Rare BMW and sell the Saab 900s. Now, this car does run good and drives nice too, and can be driven home. I drove it from Saginaw to Manistee the day I purchased it with no problems with exception to the manual transmission. It won't go into 4th gear. I assume the transmission needs repair.The car has plenty of power to operate from 3rd gear to 5th gear, so she is a repairable driver. I read online if the transmission does not whine it can be rebuilt, and it does not whine, so it has potential. This would be a great winter car as it is, and has Front wheel drive. The car has New Pirreli tires all the way around.The rims are in nice condition. So, rims and tires alone are worth this purchase.Rare rear hatch Saab louvers! Sony cd player in dash. Body is in decent shape, no dents or previous accidents. Has some minimal rust if you look close by top of fenders, and door bottoms which is typical for Michigan. Engine starts right up, doesn't knock or smoke, with some typical lifter noise at idle, and got around 30mpg on my trip home. Drives straight, and brakes seemed to work good. Small exhaust leak, not loud. The interior headliner is out, seats are torn but has seat covers, and has no rear seat,but the top seat is folded down giving it spacious room to haul stuff. Im sure you can find seats cheap enough at a yard. Has a moonroof, but needs the switch.Does not leak. Power windows , power mirrors, cruise, and full dash. Lights work, but may be a bulb out in the dash.Wipers work. A/c did not get cold,heater works and blower works. The Mileage listed is what appears on the dashboard, but I was told it had at least 200,000 miles. It is not uncommon for these cars to go double this mileage.So, I am selling this cool classic "AS IS" with no warranty. I do have some receipts and manuals in the car.
