Selling my long-term retirement project due to interest & space constraints. Two hurricanes, back problems, and a lack of direction have taken away any interest in finishing this car, my loss! 1947 Ford "long door" coupe, titled as 1948. Frame completed, built on a jig using factory outer rails, Progressive Automotive's Corvette C4 "Sweet Ryde" front clip and center section, Auto Weld rear 4-link with narrowed Ford 9" and 31 spline axles. Set up for LS-1 engine and 200R4 trans (neither included), frame painted in Hammerite silver finish. Corvette C4 12" brakes all around. Rear wheels are 15x12 Weld Pro-Stars and have new M&H P390R45/15 drag radials, front wheels are rollers only. Wilwood dual M/C brake pedal with adjuster & remote cylinders. 15 gal aluminum RC fuel cell with angle fill and Cobra style flip-top fuel filler. Body has new Bitchin' rockers, recessed firewall, floors, tunnel, & running boards. Fairlane 'glass front fenders, rear (+3" wide) fenders, handmade 'glass rear deck lid, plus stock deck lid & front fenders. Suicide doors finished. Stored in a non-climate controlled garage since 2008, so the body has surface rust, but frame remains perfect. Many more build pix on request. It's a roller with great stance and potential, no reserve and low starting price! I will require a $250 non-refundable deposit via Paypal and balance on or before pickup. I can hold it here for a reasonable length of time (3 months) once it's been paid in full. Located 90 miles east of Houston just south of I-10. Now the downside: This must be picked up at my house as it's unlikely that any commercial company will consign to haul this. It will need to be hauled with a trailer or rollback due to neighborhood constraints plus the number of loose parts and pieces. You will have to make all arrangements to retrieve it. However, I will be more than willing to help with the loading.
