For sale is a 1970 Buick Lesabre 455. My wife's grandpa bought it new. He gave it to her in 1983 to drive to college. We got married, kids, etc. and bought a new car. We didn’t feel that we could just sell the car at that time, so we parked it in my dad's warehouse. I did get it out over the last 20 years and start it to keep the engine freed up. Well, now dad wants to clean out the warehouse , so it needs to go. I had my mechanic get it out and get it running. He removed the fuel tank and cleaned the carburetor and replaced the fuel pump. Surprisingly, it runs great! There is an exhaust gasket leak that I didn’t remember it having, and the right rear wheel leaks brake fluid. AC worked when we parked it, but doesn’t now. Power steering and transmission are all fine. I drive it around town but didn’t want to go too far with the dry tires. It has keystone wheels on, but the original hub caps are in the trunk. I don’t know where the original rims are. Interior is excellent except drivers seat. Miles are original. I would assume most of the value of the car is in the 455 engine and transmission.
