i have a 1957 vw ragtop bug im selling it has the original ragtop from factory not a cut in , has all the ragtop parts, the canvas is old used but no holes still good for a driver the pans are solid someone in past had drilled some holes about size of a dime in the floors for water drails this most likely saved them, under battery is solid that brown stuff insnt rust its mow hair from the seats the transaxle is a stock splitcase, didnt test it but i rolls fine, the motor is a 36hp from a 1960 bug it runs but needs new rings and a muffler, it is out of car but i can install if you going to have car shipped the body is in pretty good shape theres dings here and there, the only major rust is in spare tire tray that peice can be gotton repopped, the heater channels are solid as well as front package tray behind dash, which still has the og black paint so you can see dash has never been cut, comes with a og oval voltimatic radio untested and a restored stock vw jack, i have the humpback gas tank for it also in good shape the car has new front brakes, new master cylender, new front wheel cylenders, all 4 rubber brakes lines, brakes work as well as e brake new accelarator cabel and clutch cable the steering wheel is a older resto its showing sighns of age has some hair line cracks the windsheild has a crack in drivers side corner body and pan tag match the seats are og interior, brick red with matching original door panels in great shape, the drivers seat is coming apart at seats but really nice for its age the rear apron has some damage on left side but its the original style h pattern anymore questions feel free to email i have like 30 more pictures so let me know thanks call must be picked up in person, 200 deposit made within 48 hours rest to be paid in person in cash apon pickup of car i will only hold car for 10 days after that it will be 25.00 a day for storage car is being sold "as is"On Aug-13-12 at 20:34:44 PDT, seller added the following information: i forgot to add car is out of dmv system and i dont have a pink i will give a bill of sale, i ran the numbers and its not in system thanks email me if you would like more picts or questions infamous_aircooleds@hotmail.com
