This is a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which has been retired from service. IT was purchased new, by the City of Milford in 2003. The vehicle was retired approximately 2 years ago with the intention of using it for Emergency Vehicle Operations Training. The vehicle was not used for the training and is being sold. It was used for approximately 2-3 years as a marked patrol vehicle during which time it was serviced every 200 hours +/-. Once retired from patrol, the vehicle was unmarked and used as a staff and/or special units vehicle. It was retired due to mileage and age, not due to mechanical issues. The vehicle needs a battery and currently will not start without assistance. Once started, the vehicle drives and runs fine. There does not appear to be issues with the drive train, engine, brakes or suspension. The vehicle has dents, dings and scratches as would be expected. There is NO disabling or functional damage. Glass in intact and tires are serviceable. Car is registered in Delaware until December 2012. WIth this said, the vehicle is being sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. The City of Milford strongly encourages that the vehicle be checked out by a qualified technician, and any issues corrected, before being used on roadway. City vehicles are serviced by the City of Milford Maintenance Department. Major repairs are performed by a Ford Dealership. The vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty. The City of Milford makes no representation to the operability of this vehicle. The City of Milford accepts cash, personal checks and cashier checks. We DO NOT accept credit cards and will not finance. We will not end the auction early to sell privately. Buyer is responsible to remove vehicle with 10 days of auction close at which time full payment is due. Buyer is responsible to bring all necessary equipment to remove the vehicle. The City of Milford will not supply towing, rope, chain, tools, or manpower to remove vehicle.
