1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe Up for auction is a 1966 Karmann Ghia Coupe it has a 1300cc air cooled engine with a four speed manual transmission. Engine # F0252724. Odometer shows 23002 actual miles!!! Everything appears to be original on the vehicle, body and paint is in good shape, does have some small surface rust spots around headlight and on the chrome bumper, but overall in very good shape to be over 40 years old. Interior is in great shape, floors are all original and have no rust and are very solid. It even has the owners manual still in the car!!! The vehicle was found in an underground dry storage unit and had been there for approximately twenty years. We put new brakes all the way around, new master cylinder, we dropped the tank and cleaned it out, new fuel filter, put a new fuel level sending unit on it, new distributor cap, new battery, and changed the oil. This vehicle runs great!!! The car is tan in color with black vinyl interior, has AM/FM Cassette, has heat directed from the engine to the inside of the car and vents for fresh air to come in from the outside on those hot days. It also has a storage compartment behind the back seat to put your luggage. This is a very nice vehicle and a real head turner, not many of these left in this kind of shape!!
