Over $9,000 spent on it in the last year. SUPER LOW RESERVE! 1986 Porsche 928S Coupe. The only sports car ever to win the title of Car of the Year was built in Zuffenhausen from 1977 to 1995: Strictly speaking, the 928 is more grand touring than sports car. It is fully laden with all the best luxury features and a big, powerful motor. It was built to fly down the autobahn in excess of 140 mph for hours on end without tiring the driver, but is equally at home on twisty back roads. Porsche pioneered many technical features on their flagship luxury coupe including the famed Weissach Axle which was later adapted for use on other models. It is an automatic toe-correcting system which can be thought of as a sort of passive rear-wheel steering -- the first of its kind available to the public. It helps keep the rear wheels on track in certain lift-throttle or braking situations lending a very neutral, easy handling -- a significant change from the tail-happy 911s in '78. Under the hood sits an aluminum V8 producing 296 hp with an automatic transmission. no accidents in the last 13yrs, over 13yrs ago was a slight fender bender with replacement of front bumper. The exterior is Red complemented by a new black interior in which $4,000 was just spent on this year, Loaded with options such as, pwr. seats, pwr. windows, pwr. sunroof and air conditioning, tilt steering. Car has been stored for awhile so it’s not running great but it does start right up and drives down the road, mechanic said it may be due to oil from the valve cover shorting out a spark plug, just recently had new original spark plug wires and plugs installed along with all new power steering lines. The pump needs to be replaced and I bought one for it just haven’t installed it yet. I think it has a slight transmission leak from the back reservoir. The paint is not perfect, but good enough for some. Tires are 70% I guess with one of them 100%, just changed it last week.
