Vehicle Detail

This is a 1969 Road Runner factory 383, 4-spd car that now has a freshly rebuilt zero mile 1970 dated 426 dual quad hemi motor in it. It has factory correct hemi exhaust manifolds as well, but there is a small piece of articulated pipe (maybe 15 in) on each side that connects to the main exhaust. The body of the Road Runner is excellent and way above average. The trunk pan is original and it is solid. The frame rails are also excellent with the exception of the right rear rail which has been patched (see pic). The original color of the car was green, but the red on it now is pretty nice, not show quality, but it does not need a repaint to be a very nice driver. The color looks to be FE5 Bright Red, but I can't be sure. The original fender tag is there, but no build sheet. The car is an original 4-spd with the N-96 air grabber option, but the air grabber stuff is all missing. It also has power steering and manual drum brakes. The bucket seat interior is very nice with one small mouse hole above one visor. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed and are very nice. The gas tank and sending unit are brand new. The car still needs a few things: many of the gauges are not working, the brake pedal seems hard and the car needs an alignment and a new set of sneakers, never mind the old Keystone Mags. The vinyl roof is nice. The rear end in the car is an 8 3/4 with 3.55 posi gears. I have seen the 1970 casting date on the block with my own eyes. The engine has a hydraulic cam and is a nice street rebuild, not some mega horsepower monster. This is a very nice Road Runner with a valuable dated rebuilt hemi motor that I am selling quite cheap to pay for another car. I don't think you could build this car for what I am willing to sell it for. My reserve is less than the buy it now, so please be serious if you bid.
