Vehicle Detail
A completely ORIGINAL (except for wheels) 1960 Ford F-100 ex-farm truck with a rare combination of a V8 292ci engine with only 74k mls on the clock AND a 4-on-the-floor stick shift!!! The only apparent rust damage is a silver dollar sized rust hole in each of the front bottom sections of each door well! The rest of the truck is rust free & only shows some slight surface rust underneath which can be wire-brushed off easily. The engine has to be experienced to believe......It pulls better than my modern F-150 which has a 5.3ltr V8!!! This vehicle turns heads wherever I ride in it, both young & old just love to see such a nostalgic vintage truck on the road. As you will know, these old-timers didn't get fitted with power-anything!! (No A/C,power windows, brakes or steering) As an everyday driver it takes some getting used to, & would benefit from new brake shoes, but otherwise it's a big old kitten. You can drive it home or trailer it for longer distances, but whichever way you choose, transportation is your task....... Ask any questions you want to via the "questions" option & I will try to answer as fully as possible, but "I don't know how many previous owners it's had", I don't know if the engine/box have ever been rebuilt, I honestly believe the mileage is genuine, it is an everyday drive OR an excellent base for a show truck, I am only selling it because I intend to return to my native UK. OH!!!!!!..................I forgot an important bit.............. It only needs one payment of $25 (in Missouri) to get Historical Registration Plates & then there is NO annual inspections needed & no annual/bi-annual re-registration needed!!! (certain restrictions do apply to mileage on Historical plates, but as some of you know, this can easily be gotten around!) ;-)
