1967 Ford F-100 Short Bed 2 wheel drive 6 cylinder engine , Automatic transmission. I purchased it from the son of the original owner. Over the last five years I have started work on it and have performed the following work. New brakes front and rear , including new wheel cylinders , new master cylinder , new brake pads. King pins and bushings installed Outer tie rod ends both sides. New shocks Replaced front wheel bearings Rebuilt steering column, new shift tube and column bearings The truck is pretty much original. Very little rust as it is a Southwest truck. Floors are solid , bed is solid and even the battery box and the cab mounts are solid where these trucks usually rust out. There are a few small dings here and there as one would expect on a 45 year old truck, the worst is behind the drivers door and I have included a pic of that. Most of the mileage is highway miles. The motor runs great , no smoke or knocks. There was a factory longblock installed at 95,000 miles according to the guy I bought it from. Auto trans works well. 9 inch rear axle. The starter , carburetor and alternator were recently replaced with rebuilt units. The truck has been sitting as I have a newer truck and don't drive this one. It starts right up and periodically I start it and run it around the block. With a little body work this will be a nice classic. Feel free to ask questions if you have any, I will answer promptly. Local pick up only, I will assist any transport company you contract with. Even tho it runs good I would suggest it be transported if going a long distance just because it has sat for so long. Clean , Clear AZ Title. In all this will make a nice project should someone want to restore it or it could be driven as it sits with no problem.
