What we have here is a 1974 Cutlass 442 W29. This is a factory 455 car. This car runs and drives. I have had this about 5 years and have not done much with it so it needs to go to someone who can restore it. Like i said, the car runs and drives. I start it and drive it up the street and back but that's as far as i have driven it. The turbo 400 trans shifts through all the gears. The motor runs strong and dosent smoke. Its a 455 4 barrel with J heads. I don't think the motor has ever been out of this car. The trans leaks a little but works fine. This car has swivel bucket seats, console, floor shifter, tilt wheel, A/C that blows ice cold, P/W that work good, P/S, P/B, Dual exhaust, rally wheels, front and rear sway bars and the 442 only louvered hood. This was originally equipped with the padded vinyl top. This is where the rust around the quarter windows happened. I have a parts car that has these areas in good shape along with the trunk channel and rear floors. The front and rear floors need patched or replaced. The quarters need replaced. The trunk floor needs patched or replaced. The brakes work good. The wipers work. The turn signal switch needs replaced. All the glass is good with the exception of the windshield which has a crack. I replaced the orginal white interior with the maroon interior you see in the pictures. The white plastic had turned to dust. The SSI wheels are very nice and have BF Goodrich tires on them with good tread. The interior needs to be redone. The dash is toast. I have a maroon pad in my parts car that i might include along with other parts for this car. We can talk about that. This is a rare W30 car that is worth restoring.
