Vehicle Detail

This is a gas efficient reliable car that still has surprising acceleration power and runs very well. It was used for school in Charlottesville, VA and Miami, FL for many years and came home to Virginia in 2010. It is my second car, so I have been using it to save on gas. It was cosmetically damaged on the driver's side when it was sideswiped while parked. I decided to try to fix that myself. The car looks 10 times better than when I started. There was some rust and dents around the wheel wells that I filled. The car looks clean and presentable, as the pictures show. Positive Features: New ECUNew Crankshaft Pulley New AlternatorNew BatteryNew Air and Fuel FiltersNew brake padsCold AC converted to 134a Low Miles/Strong Transmission/Engine with no signs of slipping or weaknessRepainted with oil-based enamel and covered with Urethane Clear and HardenerAppearance: Shiny, clean and presentableFunctional: I get around 24 mpg with this car and 28 mpg highwayPassed Emissions and Safety InspectionHas premium bose speakers out of an Acura RL luxury car and a Mercedes The radio and antenna work and the cd player works and also plays mp3sPower Locks, Lighter sockets (two: I installed an extra to charge my phone and use my gps), lights, doors, windows all work. Drawbacks:This car is 20 years old and it had some cosmetic rust (on the quarter panels around the wheel wells) before I painted it. Of course, I ground out any rust I could see and covered it with rust primerIt has been recently painted in the last month, but this was the first car I ever painted. I did my best and used a good clear coat on top, but there were some drips and things that you might see if you looked very closely to study the car. The trunk doesn't leak, but this is because I sealed it with silicon in certain placesThe passengers inside door handle works, but I fixed the cracked plastic with epoxy instead of buying a new handle Overall this is a clean, reliable car, with good fuel economy and low miles for its age. Please feel free to come take a test drive and inspect the car No Warranty: There is no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to the above-described property. It is also understood that the above-stated vehicle is sold in "as is" condition.
