Vehicle Detail

I will part trade for certain items....see what I'm looking for at the end of the listing! NOTE**** Please read my auction terms carefully and contact me if you have ANY questions or concerns BEFORE you bid. Your bid is your acceptance of my auction terms. **To see pics of the 5 year resto, go to my build thread at 67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?p=4324423#post4324423 and click through the pages of photos and commentary. This auction is for a very nice, frame off restored black on black, 1972 GMC Sierra K25 4x4 3/4 ton truck with less than 200 miles since being completely restored and resto-modded. The truck has a 454 engine with FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection, a 4L80e overdrive trans with TCI EZ-TCU trans controller, NP205 transfer case, Power Steering, Power Brakes, dealer installed under-dash A/C, and I added a set of factory bucket seats, factory console, factory tilt steering column, factory tach and gauges, and 1-piece windows from Brothers as well as many other mods. It has 6" of lift using 4" spring and 2" of body lift, 16x8 American Racing wheels, and 35" Kumho All Terrains. This truck was built from an original '72 GMC K25, it was not pieced together from several trucks. The VIN plate on the cab matches the VIN stamped in the frame which matches the VIN on the good bonded Texas title in my name. I've built several of these trucks, and this is the nicest one yet. According to my buddy who wrenches at a local Jeep and 4x4 shop, "she's a Cadillac" because it rides and looks so good. The engine runs great. The trans shifts great. the 4 wheel drive works great. Everything's all new. Inside and out this truck looks great. Here are some of the specs...I'm sure I'm forgetting some: BODY - new floor pans, rockers and cab corners installed - gas filler hole filled and moved to custom location in bed stake pocket - door frames modified for BROTHER's 1-piece window kit - cab, doors, core support and trans tunnel cover were all media blasted and primed before paint - new aftermarket fenders - new aftermarket inner fenders - new steel cowl induction hood - bed stripped before bed liner installed and undercoated on bottom (that's dust from the barn on the bed floor in pic...not faded or anything) - NOS bed steps installed in bedsides - new aftermarket tailgate ( also lined ) - everything professionally painted 2-stage gloss black with PPG base/clear coat...underhood items were professionally painted correct satin black *Note: the paint was done about 2 years ago and still looks great...with less than 200 miles on it, I just rarely drive the truck, it sits in the barn. Having said that, even though all my buddies say the paint is great, I would give it a conservative 8 out of 10 just because it's been sitting in the barn collecting dust and a couple of minor spots in it...so minor I was unable to photograph them...just want to be up front here...it looks really really good...especially for never being buffed out...I just never got around to that. FRAME - frame was completely stripped down, scrubbed and pressure washed clean, then painted with Rustoleum satin black - passenger side frame rail was notched and boxed with 1/4' plate so that the ceramic coated '66 Chevelle exhaust manifolds would clear - a DIY 4x4 tubular front crossmember/engine mount was installed in place of the factory crossmember to provide clearance for the big-block 454 pan SUSPENSION - STEERING - BRAKES Front- - a new 4" lift kit from Off Road Designs (ORD) with new EZ-Ride springs, greaseable bushings, shackles, and shocks was installed - the factory 4.10 geared DANA 44 front axle was disassembled, cleaned, inspected and rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, u-joints, and finned cover - new WARN locking hubs were installed - new front calipers - new extended brake lines - a new Superlift raised steering arm was installed as well as a new pitman arm - a new center steering link and tie rod ends were installed Rear - a 4" shackle flip kit from ORD was installed...included the flip shackles, all new greaseable bushings, and shocks - the stock DANA 60 rear end was rebuilt with a new TracLok posi unit and new Yukon 4.10 gears and all new bearings, seals and finned cover - new brake drums, shoes, all new brake hardware, and new extended brake lines were installed * In addition to the 4" spring lift, a 2" body lift using graphite blocks was also installed for a total of 6" of lift DRIVETRAIN and UNDERHOOD - F.A.S.T. EZ-EFI throttle body fuel injection with cowl mounted ECU (see pic), FAST electric fuel pump and FAST fuel pressure gauge and lines. Idles great, awesome torque and easy to adjust (if you want) using the handheld that plugs into the cig lighter (you can see it on the console in the pics) - fuel feeds from a custom, rear frame mounted, 1972 Suburban-style fuel tank with custom stainless steel fuel filler in left rear bed stake pocket. ENGINE - rebuilt GEN IV 2-bolt 454 block .060 over - new flat top KB hyperuetectic pistons and Sealed Power rings - rebuilt stock rods - stock crank - all new bearings, seals and Fel-Pro gaskets - new COMP CAMS roller cam ( mild RV grind for torque) - new COMP roller lifters - new COMP roller rockers and pushrods - new Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears - new Cloyes 2-piece aluminum timing cover with built in cam button and external endplay adjustment screw - new Mellings oil pump and pick up - all new ARP bolts through out - stock truck oil pan - rebuilt big-oval port "049" heads with 3-angle valve job and all new COMP springs, locks and retainers - Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold - chrome aftermarket tall "corvette" valve covers - '66 Chevelle ceramic coated exhaust manifolds - all new MSD ignition system including Pro Billet distributor, 6A ignition box, Blaster coil, and MSD plug wires - all engine brackets are Alan Grove custom steel brackets painted satin black - new true dual exhaust with new stainless MagnaFlow mufflers TRANSMISSION and TRANSFER CASE - TCI EZ-TCU controlled 4L80E overdrive trans rebuilt by my local trannsmission guy with a stock converter. Shifts great and the EZ-TCU brain and handheld are mounted inside the console...see interior pics - the trans is mounted to a turned-down stock adapter to the rebuilt. stock NP205 transfer case - both front and rear driveshafts are rebuilt, rebalanced, and fitted with all new heavy duty DANA-SPICER u-joints UNDERHOOD - custom aluminum radiator with twin 12" Spal fans - completely restored and replated power brake booster and master cylinder - brand new R134 Sanden compressor, new A/C condensor, dryer and lines (there's no belt on the compressor in engine pics as I was just installing it) - LOKAR trans dipstick - all new hoses and belts - new heater core and restored heater box INTERIOR - cab and doors were insulated with FATMAT - new 1-piece door glass kits from Brothers was installed - new tinted front windshield and rear window glass was installed with all new rubber and stainless trim - all new M&H wiring harnesses were installed throughout truck, front to back - complete new dash and gauge set with tach installed...looks beautiful, and all gauges work - the dealer installed underdash A/C unit was completely disassembled, refurbished, re-dyed, rechromed and reinstalled...looks and works great...blows cold - the factory heater box was restored and repainted and installed with all new vents, ducts, and NOS control unit - a set of factory bucket seats and brackets were located and recovered in 1972 correct scroll pattern material and installed - a factory console was located, disassembled, re-dyed, replated, and installed with the correct GMC emblem included - a gorgeous pair of original door panels were stripped, then re-dyed black and installed with new handles and hardware - a factory tilt steering column was removed from a '72 Cheyenne Super, rebuilt and repainted, and installed with a gorgeous aftermarket steering wheel - a new black headliner was installed.
