At auction with no reserve is our 1998 Dodge Ram Van 2500 This van is a one ton 12 passenger bus. You can verify this by the date of mfr sticker in the door. Vehicle type is bus and the gvwr is 7700 lbs. We have done tons of repairs to the van within the last 5000 miles. The repairs are as follows: The entire front end has been replaced. The upper and lower ball joints, the entire steering linkage, upper and lower control arm bushings, radius arm bushings and the shocks. Plus the front end was aligned Water pump, serpintine belt, belt tightener and related hoses along with a coolant flush. The Dodge TSB that involves removing the intake manifold and replacing all the gaskets was performed. A complete tune up replacing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, dist. cap and rotor, air filter, oil filter and oil. I have always ran full synthetic moble oil in it. The front brakes were replaced at which time new pads, rotors and wheel seals were installed and the bearings were repacked with new grease. The rotors have not been turned since new. I replaced the drivers side power window regulator and motor The bad:We had the AC system serviced then the ac line going to the rear ac unit developed a hole in it and the ac system now does not workThe head liner is falling down, I stapled it up but you will see what it looks like in the picsThe tires need replaced they have very little treadSome one before we bought it removed the steering stops to increase the turning radius (i'm guessing) so if you hold the wheel all the way one way or the other it makes a popping sound if you are going over bumps while turningThe interior carpet has stains and the middle seat has a cut in it about 6" longThe radio only works when it wants to. But all the speakers sound great, I think the radio is bad.While I was driving it I ran through some yellow line paint and it got on the van behind the drivers front wheel. (see pic) Over all the van is good shape, it runs great, the transmission shifts perfect (four speed over drive), the power locks and power windows all work good. It has front and rear heat/ac. It has been sitting for about a year, I have only driven it a few miles in that time. I drove it today just before listing it and it drove perfect except for a pulse in the brake pedal. I think it is from rust were the pads were sitting on the rotors and it will go away after driving a few days I have told you as much as I can about the van but I am selling it "as is" with no warrenty. I will guarantee the van will run smooth and the transmission to shift purfect when you get here. I have 668 perfect feed backs and plan to keep it that way so bid with confidence!
