I bought this car for my wife when it was just over 1 year old, it was bought new by a local Porsche enthusiast who didn't drive it and when we got it the mileage was just over 2200 miles.It is a really nicely equipped 2001 996 Tiptronic Cabriolet with most of the options available at the time, it is finished in Arctic Silver with Metropole Blue leather and top, ruffled leather, Porsche crests on the seats, memory drivers, electric driver and passenger seats, heated seats, Cruise control, Xennons, wind deflector,18" Turbo twists, CD player, three spoke crested steering wheel.The only non standard items are the gauge surrounds in burnished silver and Fabspeed exhaust tips.We are selling this car to replace with a newer 997 Turbo Cabriolet My wife only uses this car during the summer hence the low mileage of only 29000 miles, it is serviced regularly by Stead Porsche of Walnut Creek who are our local main dealer and they have serviced it since we got it.The paintwork is all original, it has never had an accident or repair ever, there are some light scratches on the front bumper where my son has heaved his overweight schoolbag out of the trunk and a scratch on the rear left fender, there is a very small paint chip on the rear spoiler. The motor and transmission are perfect, as stated it has been properly maintained by Stead Porsche and anything that needed attention was done straight away, in recent years the cooling system overflow bottle was replaced and the clear rear window also replaced. This car is in excellent shape, reflecting its mileage and I would happily drive it across the US in a heartbeat, I am a dealer and specialize in Porsches, this has been my wifes car for nearly 10 years.
