I am selling several cars from my private collection in the coming week, including this stunning 1985 Ferrari QV. This car was sold new from CALIFORNIA FERRARI, a dealership in San Francisco and has been in Southern California it's entire life. This is a fully documented car with window sticker and records from 1986 with an impecable service history. In fact, this car was serviced from the world renowned Bobileff Motor Cars since 1996, prior to that at "South Coast Ferrari Service " and "Newport Motors". The previous owner had the car for 15 years. This ferrari exterior color is quite rare and was a factory option in the metallic paint as noted on the window sticker for $830. I was only able to locate 5 other cars of this QV model painted in same "prugna" and all the other cars had tan hides where as this car has black. The black interior is original per the window sticker so all in all a beautiful example of a very rare color combination. The service history is meticulous, including most recently a service, including new timing belts in January 2012, plus tensioner bearings (even though not needed), brake pads, hood struts, all original matching wheels repainted AND new tires all around installed and balanced by a Ferrari dealership in Los Angeles.. New centers for the rims even though were not necessary.. Interior condition is immaculate all around. Engine compartment is clean. Underside is dry w/ no leaks and excellent compression. Paint shines excellent, yet has typical rock chips from normal driving. Spare tire not installed for years and do not have. Everything operates as it should. Stereo w/ seperate equalizer. Car performs as designed and is an absolute pleasure to drive and experience to own. It is known to buy the best of the series, often the last year of the model as you have here. Further we have the rare color combo, all service records from the window sticker. Take into consideration that this car has been in California all of it's life since new, has a long history with same Ferrari mechanics and long ownership history w/ few owners and you have here "in one package" what most car collectors and owners strive for and these are the type of criteria I select upon all my car purchases.
