Vehicle Detail
Hard to find combo of wagon with manual transmission. MPG is in the low 30's if I remember correctly. Car is in good mechanical condition for the age and mileage. Each cylinder has extremely good compression and the engine runs strong. There are also many new/replacement parts: Front struts & strut mounts Starter Power steering hydraulic lines Timing belt Cam seal Front crank seal Alternator & power steering belts Spark plugs, wires, rotor and cap Rear tires I purchased this car in Florida, had the above work done and drove it back 1300 miles to Maine to keep as a spare vehicle. Apart from small quirks typical of a 24 year-old car, the following is what I know it is in need of currently: It has a leak in the rear main seal which should be replaced; C/V shaft; two front tires. With those items complete, I think this car will go many more miles as is typical of JDM cars of this vintage. The only spot of rust is under the radio antenna (pictured) but the underside of the car and rocker panels are in very good condition. I have over $3,000 invested currently but I'm just tired of storing it in my barn and insuring it. Thanks for looking. **UPDATE** I've had a couple questions about driveability. The car went into storage (I drove it a few times for a total of around 500 miles) about a year ago after the trip from FL. I felt completely comfortable making that trip and had no issues. When I looked over the car again today, I noticed that the two front tires have some dry rot from being old to begin with and then sitting mostly unused for over a year. If the winning bid is at least $1500, I will put two new tires on the front at my own expense to assure a safer drive to wherever it is you might be going. If the winning bid is at least $1500 and you choose to arrange shipping instead, I'll give you a credit of $100 for the tires. My intention is to get fair value for the car from a satisfied buyer, not to maximize profit at all costs.
