Vehicle Detail
1969 Ford Torino GT A Beautiful Texas GT I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.Due to a lack of space we are auctioning this beautiful automobile for the lowest price you will ever see. (With a Buy it Now price so serious buyers can take advantage of a great deal.) This is one of those items: This beautiful GT came from an estate south of San Antonio, Texas. The owner spent tons of money restoring it, but due to a move out of state, he had to part with his beautiful car. Most of the restoration is done, but we will explain what needs to be finished. The car is a Texas car with a clear Texas title. It comes with original matching number engine (302) and an automatic transmission. The engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt over two hundred miles ago. The paint is new paint. There are many new parts in the car that we will list for you. What is good about the car: It is a solid Texas car with a clear Texas title The engine has been completely rebuilt by professional engine rebuilders (with documents) The transmission has been rebuilt The car has a new Edelbrock 500 carburetor It has a new fuel pump It has a new distributer All the hoses have been replaced It has new motor mounts. It has a new starter It has a new racing radiator The leaf springs have been replaced It has new rear air shocks It has a new battery It has new tires It has new carpet It has new seats It has a new expensive paint job (one month old) It has a new steering wheel (we still have the original steering wheel and it will go with the car) We have almost all the receipts Pictures of restoration What is not so good about the car: It needs a signal switch It needs a driver side door window regulator It is missing the front hood chrome (unfortunately the paint shop lost it) The owner ordered a 1969 Fastback Headliner, which after he installed it he noticed it was the wrong one. The front hood needs better hinges and it is missing the hood spring The front windshield has a crack on the side The owner spent a lot of money but he never finished the restoration completely so there are some cosmetic items that need to be taken care of. It is almost there and runs great. He only put 200 miles on it in the last two years as it was his hobby and toy. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic truck is 43 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The truck will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee.
