Vehicle Detail

Major restoration project here (but worth saving). I bought this with grand plans of ripping into it but have made a decision to sell it & sink the $ into a project I'm 3/4 down with & "can" finish myself - Barracuda hardtop car. So, this is a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda convertible & if you caught the VIN # may have noticed it's a REAL 'Cuda big block rag top. (BS27N) car. The dash vin, radiator support, cowl #'s all match. And the original fender tag is in tact & decoded below. The only VIN # missing would be the build sheet(s) & door sticker. It's a B7 (jamaica) blue with blue interior & white top car. 383 (335hp) hi-po, Automatic 727 with luggage rack deck lid & hockey stick stripe delete car! Also original southern A/C car with AM 8 track (still in tact). It was a standard dash (no rally) as well. Early production 1970 (110 vin) build date 8/29/1969. Now for the bad - it was hit passenger front & needs inner fender apron/fender/possible frame rail straightening & radiator support is bent way up :( And it's rusty! The floors, quarters, trunk floor, inner wheel wells & rear frame rails have some or a LOT. Car needs most sheet metal (it's missing the driver door, and most of front clip - what you see is what you get) Interestingly, the car is "straight" in the sense that the door shuts ok & there is no sign of body sag - strong rockers & inner door jamb sections. Plus there is some meat to the pans/seat support sections. The rear frames is where it is ugliest. Interior: The seats are gone & what's left inside the car will either need to be replaced or fixed-- dash, radio, 8 track, console, shifter, seat belts, interior panels are there. The original drive train is long gone BUT not pictured is a May 1970 dated 383 build-able core block that will be included with the sale. Convertible components are present & in good usable condition. Original manual top car. This is rough & doesn't lie - not sure if more pix are really needed here :) Car does not roll - needs a flat bed as the 8.75 & front passenger spindle are gone. However, if the buyer wants to get this shipped somehow, I can help get it to "roll" with an 8.75, spindle & roller rims/tires for an extra $800 (some welding may be in order for the leafs/shocks to get a rear end in)...but even then it won't steer as the steering column/wheel are gone (this is best to be picked up in person, if possible) Will be sold with a GA bill of sale + some legal document to prove ownership (insurance papers or registration w/ VIN/owner info listed) It's a rare real big block E body convertible that is worth close to 6 figures done...but will need a very skilled body person to get it done right. Sold with NO RESERVE -- good luck bidding! Ask any questions - but no it can't be driven home :) On Jul-24-12 at 12:54:49 PDT, seller added the following information: *Note: The 383 block is "date correct for 1970", it's build date is May of 1969. *Note: I have received many questions on ending the auction early - this is a NO RESERVE auction & there are now bidders but if you feel like you want to make me your best / strongest offer, send it along to me. *Note: There is no title for the car - GA is a non-title state, best I can do is a bill of sale + some form of legal document upon sale. This should be acceptable to get a title in a "title" state.
